About Us
Hindu YUVA is currently undergoing some restructuring. If you would like to join, please email hxu21@case.edu ! Youth for Unity, Virtue, and Action was started to organize Hindu students on Case campus and to create a network of like-minded students who can practice Hindu Dharma collectively. Hindu YUVA at CWRU is an organization that works to raise awareness of Hindu Culture, Principles, and Values by promoting values such as self-discipline, self-confidence and a spirit of selfless service (Seva) for humanity. It encourages maintaining Hindu cultural identity in harmony with the larger community at Case Western Reserve University. We are one of the many social/cultural chapters across the country that promotes Hindu Dharma.\ \ We focus on the Self and the Selfless. Every Sunday we visit the Bhutanese Refugees here in Cleveland and conduct various ESL Classes, Computer Classes, Math/Science Classes and various others to help the Refugees Resettle within the United States. The Bhutanese Empowerment Project is one of our main projects. Along with this we have weekly Meditation Sessions and Discussions talking about Hindu Principles, Values, Philosophy and other topics of cultural and social service interest.
