Dean Scharf has asked us to pass along the following invitation from the American Society of International Law:
Dear ASIL Academic Partner Faculty, Staff, and Students:
We are greatly looking forward to the Society’s 2023 Midyear Meeting in about seven weeks' time, to be held in person on Thursday through Saturday, November 9-11, 2023, at Jones Day (Thursday, November 9th), and at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (Friday & Saturday, November 10th-11th). Registration is now open, and the event is fast approaching. Preliminary program details, hotel information, and FAQs can be found at our link: asil.org/mym.
As a reminder, the 2023 ASIL Midyear Meeting is fully in-person only, and the sessions on Friday and Saturday will feature more papers presented than ever before. Students will have access to more than 50 hours of substantive panels, professional development sessions, and keynote and roundtable events.
As a benefit of the Academic Partnership program, enrolled students may register for free using the code APSTUDENT. Please communicate or share this valuable information with your students and encourage them to use their school's email address when registering.
ASIL members and international law practitioners will be joining us from around the world for this event. It’s a wonderful opportunity for your students to learn more about the field of international law and build some professional development connections that will help them navigate their way into this area of practice. Please see our website to learn more details about the event. We hope that you will share this with your students specifically.
You can learn more details about the schedule of events and register online at www.asil.org/MYM. Make sure your students have the code APSTUDENT when they register.
We look forward to seeing you all in Pittsburgh!
Warm regards and best wishes,
The Partnerships Team
