Global Ambassadors & International Student Resources & Engagement invite students to attend the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards ceremony & after-party. All students are welcome. Gather on the steps to the Maltz @ 6 PM.
This is one of Cleveland's biggest annual events and celebrates world-class writing about racism and diversity. Five writers are recognized each year, and each winner receives a $30,000 cash prize. 
What to expect: Seats are general admission. The ceremony is 6:30-8:00 at the Maltz Performing Arts Center. During the ceremony, this year's winning writer's will give short remarks, including readings from their works. Following the ceremony, the celebration moves across the street for an after-party at Park Lane with complimentary food, drinks, music, and dancing. Tickets and refreshments are free, but you must reserve a ticket to attend.
Dress: formal or informal attire is appropriate; this event is a great chance to dress for a night out on the town.
