When you walk onstage to collect your diploma, will you be wearing a graduation cap that uniquely represents your journey and achievements? Now is the time to add some bling to that basic black cap!

Join the Office of International Student Resources and Engagement for a creative cap-decorating party on Friday, April 24, 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the Office of Multicultural Affairs (Sears 409). Bring your graduation cap and decorate it in a way that truly reflects your style and your story! Add your favorite quotes, photos, images, or plans for your future. We have the bling, you bring the creativity! Invite your friends to join you in creating graduation caps that will show off your spirit during your graduation ceremony. Cookies and lemonade will be served.

Graduation Vocabulary:
Mortarboard (n.): a black, flat cap with a square top and a tassel, worn during graduation ceremonies to symbolize academic achievement.
Pomp and Circumstance (n.) the song played during the traditional graduation processional in the U.S.
