Interested in teaching with Extended Reality (XR) this semester? Whether using HoloAnatomy or the new CWRUXR platform-based applications, faculty training workshops are available to introduce XR headsets, classroom workflows, and expectations for both instructors and students. These sessions cover how to access and manage XR classrooms, including unlocking device cabinets, ensuring headsets are returned to charge, and understanding the shared responsibilities of XR instruction. Faculty will learn what students are expected to do independently, such as powering on devices and launching applications. Faculty who complete training will be eligible to reserve the XR classroom, which has moved from KSL Library to Sears Library 548 this semester, with a future permanent classroom space to be announced soon. Workshops are part of a campus-wide initiative to expand access to XR and support meaningful immersive student learning experiences.

*Alternatively, training can be completed by watching a series of asynchronous videos and completing a brief in-person skills assessment at the Interactive Commons. Email ic@case.edu for access.
