Getting published is the pinnacle of the research process and knowing what to look out for and how it all works can open new opportunities for you and help advance science.   

In this workshop, we will give you the tools you need to navigate the world of scientific publishing. We’ll cover the entire journey of a paper from writing, peer review, and publication to maximize the impact and visibility of your work.

    Pierpaolo (Pier) Morgante is a Subject Commissioning Editor at IOP Publishing, focusing on machine learning applications in chemistry, physics, and the life sciences. He received his doctorate in theoretical chemistry from the Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech), USA, working under the supervision of Dr. Roberto Peverati. Before joining IOP Publishing, Pier worked as a post-doctoral researcher in Prof. Jochen Autschbach’s group at the University of Buffalo, State University of New York.
