Details

David & Richard Stradling, authors of Where the River Burned Carl Stokes and the Struggle to Save Cleveland, will be at Kelvin Smith Library this June to discuss Cleveland and the Cuyahoga River's impact on environmental and social movements.

Copies of their book will be available for purchase.

This event is co-sponsored by The Ohio Humanities Council, The Xtinguish Celebration, West Creek Conservancy, KSL CWRU. It is also part of the Xtinguish Celebration (https://xtinguishcelebration.com/), a yearlong schedule of events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the most infamous Cuyahoga River fire in June of 1969.
