Join Kelvin Smith Library, First Year Experience, and OCA of Greater Cleveland for refreshments and a showing of the documentary film History of Cleveland’s Chinatown, directed by Johnny K. Wu.
The documentary will be shown at 5:30 p.m. and is approximately 60 minutes long.
Attendees will also be invited to view Faces of Chinatown, a photography and oral history project in the library’s Art Gallery. The exhibit depicts the experience and legacy of Chinese immigrants in Cleveland, exploring topics such as the journey, discrimination, celebration, family, food, and community.
This event is free and open to the public, although a valid U.S. Driver's license, State ID, or Passport is required for entry to the building.
