Join us for a talk, exhibit, and refreshments at Kelvin Smith Library (KSL) on October 15th at 3 PM in the Freedman Center Collaboration Commons.

The talk will feature Mary Holmes, chapter leader of Slow Food Cleveland and lecturer at CWRU, with opening remarks from Dr. Hope Barkoukis (CWRU Jack, Joseph, Morton Mandel Professorship in Wellness & Preventive Care and Chair of the Dept. Nutrition).

This event also features an opening reception for the exhibit SLOW MATTERS: Intersecting Food & Fields in the KSL Art Gallery. Curated by the Dept. of Modern Languages and Literatures, this exhibit showcases Slow Food activities at CWRU and the many connected fields and academic disciplines.
