Paul Nelson, Historian of the Western Reserve Fire Museum will present "River Fire & Fire Boats: A Look at the Significant Fires on the Cuyahoga" as part of the opening reception for Kelvin Smith Library's Crooked River Contrasts photography exhibit.

Think the 1969 fire was the only one? With the Crooked River Contrasts exhibit as a backdrop, learn the fascinating history of 15 major fires along the Cuyahoga River, and the battles to extinguish them.
