2:45 – 3:00 pm Opening Remarks
3:00 – 4:00 pm Session #1: Standards Role in Product Design and Global Economy
Representatives from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and ASTM International will discuss standards role in every day’s activities and the product development.  
4:00 – 4:15 pm Break
4:15 – 5:15 pm Session #2: Fire Standards
Representatives from the Underwriter Laboratories (UL) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) will discuss the importance of developing standards for fire safety.
5:15 – 5:30 pm Break
5:30 – 6:30 pm Session #3: Standards for Information Technology
Representatives from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Underwriter Laboratories (UL) will discuss the importance of standards in information technology applications.
