In 2019 CWRU Social Justice Institute Administrator Lisa Kollins traveled to Pakistan as part of a delegation supported by the U.S. State Department. The delegation came in contact with young Pakistani art students and activists from Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture, Karachi, Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, Arts Council Institute of Arts & Crafts, Karachi, and The International School, Karachi. The student's artwork revealed their desires for a community that embraces the values of egalitarianism, inclusion, and intellectual and creative freedom.

Kelvin Smith Library CWRU brings you this experience with This is Me: Identity & Art in an Emerging Pakistan. This exhibit features imagery of the art student's paintings, sculptures, digital illustrations, and architectural installations. The exhibit is on view in the KSL Art Gallery located on the 1st floor of the library.
