The 2nd Cleveland Biomedical Trainee Alliance (CBTA) Professional Development Conference is to be held in the Tinkham Veale University Center Kelvin & Eleanor Smith Ballrooms on the CWRU Campus, March 19th, 2025. Concurrent sessions focused on professional development will be held for trainees to customize their conference schedule to their liking.

The purpose of the CBTA Conference is to bring together graduate and postdoctoral trainees from across the Cleveland region for robust professional and personal development with opportunities for networking and career planning on a multi-institutional scale. Through institutional surveys and direct trainee interaction, members of the CBTA recognized that trainees are in need of greater access to local in-house large-scale career development tailored to their specific needs as graduate and postdoctoral trainees.

This event is open to all trainees interested in furthering professional development, regardless of discipline.
