About Us
Medical Pre-Medical Union (MPMU) aims to provide a platform for CWRU undergraduate students and alumni to explore careers in medicine, receive application guidance from current medical students, and connect with medical student mentors via our year-long paired mentorship program. It is our goal to serve the CWRU pre-medical community as an accessible and equitable resource by ensuring that students interested in medicine have opportunities to connect with mentors with shared interests, identities, and experiences so that they may learn from those who have gone through the application process themselves. Medical students involved in MPMU can contribute to this mission in several ways including serving as panelists for our events, signing up to mentor rising applicants, reviewing medical school application materials, and more! We are eager to have you and your unique journeys to medicine on board so that we can collectively mentor those who wish to follow in our footsteps and demystify the path to medical school.
