March Impact Talks 2026: Conversations That Move Communities
Don’t miss this year’s free Impact Talk series during Social Work Month, featuring a dynamic alumni lineup on Wednesdays from 1–2 p.m. Open to alumni, current students, prospective students and the community. Registration required.
Jazmin Long, chief executive director of Birthing Beautiful Communities, will discuss how maternal mental health challenges affect up to 1-in-5 women during pregnancy or postpartum, yet many go undiagnosed or untreated. Untreated conditions can have lasting impacts on maternal well-being, infant development and family health. This training equips professionals with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, effective and culturally responsive care.
