Mission
Model United Nations is a competitive intercollegiate foreign and public affairs activity that seeks to develop delegates' skills with public speaking, diplomatic compromise, resolution writing, group leadership, and the accurate representation of a nation's foreign policies while fostering a greater understanding of how the United Nations works, the cultural, political, and economic backgrounds of other nations, and the foreign affairs community in general.

Membership Benefits
Model United Nations provides members with the opportunity to travel and compete at other colleges' conferences. At conferences, team members develop public speaking, collaboration, and negotiation skills. Members of CWRUMUN's home team get the opportunity to work with high school students and help them learn about international affairs. All members also have the ability to network with our extensive alumni network.
