Please join the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences' Advocating for Equity Spotlight Speaker Series for a conversation with National Organization for Women (NOW) President Christian F. Nunes, MBA, MS, LCSW. Ms. Nunes will be speaking with Spotlight Speaker Series host Dr. Sherry Warren about NOW, its history, its advocacy work, pay equity, and female dominated workforces such as social work. Registration required; a recording of the video will be made available following the live conversation for those that register.

The Spotlight Speaker Series affords students the opportunity to listen to and engage with prominent local, regional and national leaders to understand the value and strategies of social work advocacy in meeting the equity needs of oppressed communities.
