About Us

Naach Di CWRU promotes South Asian culture through performance and outreach, expanding the reach of our culture through Northeast Ohio. As a nationally renowned dance competition, we aim to create an experience that our participants and audience alike can enjoy and experience. The collegiate dance circuit is full of competitions across the United States, but our motto is ÔÇ£For dancers, by dancersÔÇØ and we cater directly to our dancers. By creating a welcoming, environmentally sustainable event with philanthropy underlying our mission, we hope to expand the national reputation of Northeast Ohio as a culturally diverse and humanitarian region. Our dancers, who come from all over the United States, bring with them cultures from as far away as Punjab, India, and through their passion and expressive dance convey powerful stories of human experience. By sharing this art with Northeast Ohio, we hope to continue building an appreciation for our Indian culture, while giving back to the Cleveland-area community that has supported us throughout our endeavor.
