Mission
OCMEA is a group comprised primarily of music education majors. OCMEA offers professional development and networking opportunities for those involved and interested in the field of music education. OCMEA also coordinates transportation and fundraising for the OMEA music education conference every spring semester, providing undergraduates with learning and networking opportunities. OCMEA's mission is to provide students with professional development opportunities in the field of music education, while also creating a welcoming and close-knit group of members.

Membership Benefits
Members will travel to the spring OMEA professional development conference, giving them the opportunity to network with other music educators. OCMEA members also have the opportunity to attend the Midwest Conference for music education, which is held in Chicago each December. Members will have the chance to attend mock interviews, guest speaker presentations, social events, and professional development opportunities.
