Mission
Our mission is to provide medical students with the opportunity to reach under-served communities and to foster a greater understanding of the needs of the Cleveland community. Through outreach initiatives, community education, and advocacy efforts, we aim to improve health and wellness through direct community support. By using a social justice approach to providing health outreach, we hope to build stronger, safer communities that ensure everyone has the opportunity to reclaim their lives and reach their full potential.

Membership Benefits
Project Red Cord offers its members a unique opportunity to engage with and uplift marginalized communities in Cleveland. We host regular street outreach events, bringing essential resources, care, and information directly to underserved neighborhoods. At our events, we provide blood pressure screenings, patient education, and other health resources.

We provide medical students with practical experience in clinical skills, such as blood pressure monitoring and patient communication, while also fostering trust and engagement with the community. Our communications include upcoming volunteer opportunities and additional educational resources.
