About Us

The Puerto Rican Student Association (PRSA) at Case Western Reserve University is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and vibrant environment where students can socialize, express themselves freely, and celebrate Puerto Rican culture. Through academic, service, professional, and socio-cultural opportunities, we empower our members to make a significant impact in society.

Members Benefits

The Puerto Rican Student Association (PRSA) offers the opportunity to acquire and share intellectual, cultural, and social experiences regarding Puerto Rico that enhance our lives and make us better individuals while raising awareness of Puerto Rican heritage and current events. We will host volunteering opportunities, community engagement events, cultural events, networking opportunities, social events, and collaborations with other organizations. The PRSA will communicate via email and social media, through monthly newsletters, email announcements, and frequent social media posts. Membership is open to all students who are interested in Puerto Rican culture and community, whether you're from Puerto Rico or simply curious to learn more.

Our Previous Events

Our most recent event aimed to bring together members of the Puerto Rican Student Association through a cherished and familiar tradition: "chinchorreo". This vibrant activity, beloved in Puerto Rico, involves hopping on a bus and visiting various restaurants, often nestled in the scenic mountains and rural areas of the island. Unforgettable memories, and a sense of unity and pride in our culture was fostered.
