Lubrizol Facility Tour

Students interested in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or anyone interested in learning more about Lubrizol are encouraged to attend. This visit offers a valuable opportunity to learn about industry research, gain insight into real-world applications of materials science, and explore potential career paths.

The lab tour will take place from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Lubrizol facility, located approximately 30 minutes from campus. Transportation will be provided for students.

The estimated departure time from campus is 3:00 PM, and participants should meet in the Tinkham Veale University Center (Tink), in the area between the staircase and the open seating space. Please arrive on time to ensure a prompt departure.

Students who prefer to travel independently are welcome to do so; however, please ensure that you arrive at the facility before the tour begins at 3:30 PM.Requirements for Lab Entry

For safety and compliance with laboratory regulations, all attendees must adhere to the following guidelines:
Closed-toe shoes only (no open-toe footwear permitted)
Long sleeves required
Long pants required
No eating or drinking in laboratory spaces
Case ID or another form of identification must be brought

Any additional safety equipment required for the tour will be provided on-site.
