The purpose of Precious Plastic @CWRU is to provide a space for students interested in upcycling materials to interact with each other and get hands-on involvement in upcycling plastics. This is achieved through hands-on involvement in the building of plastic processing machines, establishing plastic collection zones on campus, and events tailored to plastic upcycling.
Learn hands-on engineering skills! Be apart of a community that wants to find better ways to upcycle plastic, learn about the impacts of single use plastic, and gain better understanding of different types of plastics. You will be directly involved in the entire process!
