About Us
The ultimate goals of the CWRU Preventative Medicine for Kids Organization is to foster healthy habits through the Cleveland school system to prevent the development of chronic illness such as heart disease, COPD, and diabetes later in life. By teaching young kids how to form healthy habits early on and educating them about the effects of poor lifestyle choices on their bodies using an accessible and captivating curriculum, we hope to plant seeds that will positively impact their choices in years to come. This organization also hopes to aid primary care providers and teachers by taking the time to break down health and wellness to Elementary, Middle School, and High School students.
