Would you be able to defend yourself if someone were to physically attack you? It’s a question most don’t want to consider; unfortunately, violence is a fact of life. Anyone can learn effective Basic Self Defense techniques to empower oneself to get away to safety in a compromising situation.

Come learn basic Streetwise Self Defense and Rape Aggression Defense Techniques at this FREE event. Participants will learn basic strikes, kicks and blocks; how to respond if an attacker grabs, chokes or holds you; and general safety tips and how to prevent gun violence. The moves are easy to learn and execute.

This event is a safe space, for women and men of all races, cultures, lifestyles and ADA wheelchair accessible. Children under
18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Comfortable clothing and good fitting sneakers are encouraged.
