Labyrinths are an ancient human symbol going back 3500 years which were present in North and South America, Africa, Asia and Across Europe. The Labyrinth Symbol was incorporated into floors of great Gothic pilgrimage Cathedrals such as Notre Dame in Paris. So Why walk a Labyrinth? Walking meditation reduces anxiety, stress and follows a winding path from the edge to the center. There is no right or wrong way to walk and the same path is used from the outside to the inside. Circles, spirals, are intertwined . Walking a labyrinth stimulates creativity and imagination in the brain and enhances contemplative thought. Come Paint one which can be transported and used for meditation practices in different communities. No experience necessary.
