Membership Benefits
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Inc. is a non-profit nationwide organization dedicated to increasing the participation of college students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). SHPE is composed of individual chapters all throughout the country, from High School to Professional Levels, which invest in creating a richer and more diverse professional environment for all underrepresented minorities in STEM fields. In our chapter, we utilize the programming of the National organization to develop the leadership skills of our members.

Our chapter was founded on January 2013 at Case Western Reserve University. Our chapter meets every other week at CWRU to discuss professional opportunities and develop professional skills. We also work on meeting and networking with professionals, receiving advice on various STEM fields, as well as preparing and attending Regional and National Conferences!
