Details

Overview: Participants will be introduced to key principles involved in writing research proposals.

Objectives:
1. Identify a suitable source of funding for a specific research idea in the biomedical sciences
2. List and describe a minimum of three reasons why grant proposals are immediately turned down or "triaged."
3. Describe a rational plan to develop a grant proposal in advance of a specific deadline, including formal solicitation of feedback.

Refreshments will be served at 5:30 PM. Session begins at 6:00 PM.
