The Pizza & AI Tools for Academic Research event, held as part of National Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week, aims to foster community and enhance scholarly success among graduate and professional students at Case Western Reserve University. By bringing students together for an afternoon of food and a presentation, we will introduce university approved AI-powered tools and strategies for advancing academic research, promote networking and knowledge-sharing, and provide a relaxed space to connect with peers across disciplines. This event celebrates our students’ commitment to innovation and learning, while supporting their academic and professional growth in an ever-evolving research landscape.
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
The Donuts with the Deans event, part of National Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week, is designed to foster open communication and strengthen connections between School of Medicine graduate and professional students and the academic leadership of the School of Medicine. By providing a relaxed setting with donuts and coffee, this event encourages students to engage directly with deans, share feedback, and discuss ideas that impact their academic journey. It celebrates our students’ valuable contributions while promoting a collaborative and inclusive campus environment.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
The Wellness Through the Weekend event, presented as part of National Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week, is dedicated to equipping all graduate and professional students with practical strategies for sustaining well-being beyond the classroom and lab. Featuring expert insights from University Health & Counseling Services, this program provides guidance on self-care, stress management, and mental health resources to help students prioritize wellness throughout the weekend and beyond. The event emphasizes our commitment to holistic student support and fosters a culture of health and resilience within the campus community.
