Mission The Student Public Interest Law Fellowship (SPILF) at Case Western Reserve University School of Law is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that encourages students to engage in the practice of public interest law in order to correct our legal system's inequities. Public interest areas of law includes assisting the the poor; the un- and under- represented, those deprived of their rights, and the environment. Students who work in public interest positions forgo paid summer internships in order to support the community. To ensure that students are able to take these internships, SPILF raises funds to provide small stipends for these students. SPILF's largest fundraising event is our annual spring Gala and silent auction.
