Join Professor Benza for a talk on the death penalty and the attempted execution of Christa Pike. On September 30, 2026, the state of Tennessee attempted to execute Christa Pike via lethal injection, but the attempt failed and Pike remains unconscious and in critical condition. Please come with any questions about the case and the death penalty. The event will be held in Room 158 at the law school and lunch will be provided.
