Farm Harvest Festival

Details
Take a step towards a sustainable lifestyle and join us for the 9th annual Farm Harvest Festival at CWRU’s spacious farm! Take this opportunity to get off-campus to have fun with students, faculty, staff, and other community members while experiencing the many perks of our beautiful University Farm and learning about sustainability on a personal and university-wide level.
For free, you can enjoy hayrides, a petting zoo, beeswax lip balm making, farm tour guided hikes, sanitary apple bobbing, a tall grass maze, grape tasting, and our microbead swap. You can also participate in our cornhole tournament, badminton tournament, judo, pumpkin raffle, or simply watch our large showcase of student performers (check back for the schedule!). Sustainably sourced food including Mitchell’s will be provided, and don’t forget to try some crickets at our tasting table!
Unfortunately, no pets (only service animals) are allowed at the University Farm during FHF --pets are allowed at the Farm on other days!
~ Transportation: Busing will be provided to and from the festival. Buses leave Thwing at 12:15 pm, 1:45 pm, and 3:15 pm. CWRU cycling club will also be biking to the Farm -- helmets are required.
~ Presented by: The Student Sustainability Council
~ Sponsored by: The University Farm, USG, Student Affairs, RHA, the Alumni Association, Case School of Medicine, the Inamori Center, Human Resources, the Staff Advisory Council, and the Nutrition Department.
