Greater CLE Youth Justice Collective Presents: Amplifying Youth Voice, on Monday, June 2nd 12-1PM. The Greater CLE Youth Justice Collaborative, made up of the ACLU of Ohio, the Children backslash backslash backslash ’s Law Center, and the Schubert Center for Child Studies at Case Western Reserve University, partnered with B4U Services to engage in a series of focus groups with young people in Cleveland, to better understand their experience of “safety.” Join us for a presentation of themes and insights from these focus groups and system-impacted youth and families. We hope to generate understanding, empathy, and collective action among policymakers, law enforcement, and the broader Cleveland Community. The webinar is free and open to the public. The Greater CLE Youth Justice Collective, made up of the ACLU of Ohio, the Children’s Law Center, and the Schubert Center for Child Studies at Case Western Reserve University, partnered with B4U Services to engage in a series of focus groups with young people in Cleveland to better understand their experience of “safety” and their ideas for making our communities more safe for everyone.

Join us for a presentation of themes and insights from these focus groups with system-impacted youth and families. By amplifying their words, we aim to equip attendees with the wisdom of what our youth are saying and to counter the harmful media rhetoric on crime and youth with a more restorative vision for healing.

Together, we hope to generate greater understanding, empathy and collective action among policymakers, law enforcement, and the broader Cleveland community to foster safety and wellness.
