Tau Beta Pi provides members with professional development, service events, and a strong network from alumni and the national organization, empowering engineering students to excel in their careers and contribute to their communities. The chapter hosts the Core Cram every semester; a day of peer tutoring for all of CWRU’s engineering core classes, along with the traditional Pi Day event. Tau Beta Pi is also responsible for awarding the Gutti Award during the annual E-week reception, recognizing engineering faculty who demonstrate an exemplary commitment to undergraduate teaching. Excellent engineering students can build interdisciplinary camaraderie through social events and better the engineering community at CWRU.
