Mission Undergraduate Society for Bioethics and Health Humanities, a student-run organization, welcomes students from all academic disciplines in order to foster bioethics education outside of the classroom. Bioethics and health humanities are interdisciplinary fields that are engaged in current and cutting-edge ethical issues concerning biomedical research, the delivery of healthcare, and the larger social, cultural, and institutional forces that shape both our shared and individual experiences of health and illness.
Membership BenefitsOur Society provides undergraduate students with excellent pre-professional exposure and preparation aspiring to a career in health care, biomedical research, law, social work, philosophy, or other disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. Some of our past activities include bioethics debates, undergraduate publishing, conference planning, career and internship planning, and social events.
