Fresh Check Day

This Fall, on September 12th from 11 AM - 2 PM. University Health and Counseling Services will be hosting a Fresh Check Day, sponsored by The Office of Greek Life and Office of Graduate Student Life.

Fresh Check Day is an uplifting mental health promotion and suicide prevention event for colleges that includes interactive expo booths, peer-to-peer messaging, support of multiple campus departments and groups, free food, entertainment, and exciting prizes and giveaways. Fresh Check Day aims to create an approachable and hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to engage in dialogue about mental health and helps to build a bridge between students and the mental health resources available on campus, in the community, and nationally.

We encourage any, and all CWRU, CIA, CIM and KSU School of podiatry students (undergraduate and graduate) to join us for Fresh Check Day 2024! All participants who check in and submit a participation card are entered to win a raffle prize. Prizes will be announced closer to the date of the event.

Registration for this event can be found below. Please note that registration for this event is not required, but is encouraged. Walk-ins/ups are welcome on the day of.
