Ready to take a break after a long day of classes? Grab some snacks and enjoy some Zine Making at our 1st Wellness Wednesday of the semester! Every Wellness Wednesday, we focus on a different topic and activity so you can relax with something creative to do AND learn about a beneficial topic. This month we will be focusing on doing a crash course on SNAP benefits/ navigating food assistance programs as a student. We will also be touching on food deserts and pointing out some good places to get healthy foods & groceries that aren't too far away from campus nor too pricey ( perfect if you were looking to try your hand at cooking or meal prepping and wanted to know where to shop).
Join us to learn about a new topic, enjoy some snacks & activities, and of course... to get some relax time!

Date: September 23rd, 2026
Time: 11am-12pm
Location: OMA, (Sears 409)

UH&Cs and OMA are excited to offer this program in collaboration with the Dean of Students Office for this month's Wellness Wednesday to help you best prepare to navigate the SNAP Benefits system.
