What's important to you? Not on the surface, but deep down? What do you want your life's legacy to
be? What do you want to accomplish with your time on this planet? What sort of qualities do you want
to cultivate as a person? How do you want to be in your relationships with others? Values are our
leading principals that can guide us and motivate us as we move through life. But, when was the last
time you sat down and thought about your personal values? It's probably been awhile!
We will spend time in this workshop talking about the importance of identifying our personal values.
Our values may differ from values that we've been taught to embrace (parents, friends, society, culture,
etc.). Values can be likened to your life's compass – pointing you in the right direction throughout life.
We will explore different types of values, talk about taking action towards your values, and discuss
"process thinking" vs "destination thinking" patterns. The hope is that you'll leave this workshop with a
better idea of what really matters to you and how to move forward with the life you want.
