UPCaM volunteering: MedWish Packing + Sorting Medical Supplies

MedWish International is a non-profit organization that collects discarded but still viable medical surplus, and redistributes it to healthcare providers both locally and around the world who do not have access to adequate medical supplies. Join UPCaM in packing and sorting these surplus supplies! This may include categorizing items, checking expiration dates, packing, and counting & weighing boxes for inventory and/or shipment.

If you are register, please make an account at https://medwish.galaxydigital.com/. Click the link -> "Sign up" in the top right corner -> On the "Create an Account" page, make sure "Community Volunteer" is selected -> Finish all 3 pages of account creation, INCLUDING signing the waiver.

Please note: closed-toe/closed-heel shoes (no sandals, clogs, or flip flops) are required. The project may also include lifting boxes up to 35 pounds and standing on your feet for the duration of the service.

When + Where: Registered volunteers will meet at the Church of the Covenant parking lot, near the main entrance, at 9:00 am and return to campus by 12:00 pm. Brianna Pendry, the team leader for this volunteer effort, will provide transportation in her personal vehicle. There will likely be a form to fill out before departing, so please be on time!

Waiting List + Cancellation Policy:
If registration is full, please join the wait list as you will receive an email update if a spot becomes available. If you are still on the wait list at the time of the event, you are welcome to stop by Church of the Covenant parking lot at that time to see if any last-minute spots open.
If you are no longer able to attend, please delete your registration in Campus Groups as soon as possible. If your cancellation is within 24 hours, please email bhp19@case.edu as soon as possible.
