Mission
The mission of the Visa and Immigration Services & Advisors (VISA) Office is to enhance the international experience and promote intercultural exchange at CWRU for students, faculty, staff, scholars, and visitors. This office also works closely with other administrative and academic departments with the following objectives in mind:

Provide excellent service to the international students, faculty, staff, scholars, and visitors, as well as to the admissions offices, schools, and academic departments of CWRU.
Protect the interests of CWRU and its international community by remaining knowledgeable about immigration issues and advising students and University personnel according to regulations.
Assisting international students in achieving their academic objectives.
Although primarily involved with immigration policies and procedures, the VISA Office may also assist the international community with housing issues, personal problems, and financial and legal matters.

Membership Benefits
We work with other departments to host events throughout the semester to help international students transition to life at CWRU and in the U.S. We also send members an e-newsletter weekly during the school year and biweekly during the summer.
