The Case Western Reserve University Visual Sciences Research Center (VSRC) will hold its 28th Annual Symposium on Friday May 29th in the Wolstein Research Building Auditorium. Our VSRC is privileged to be the home of some of the nation's most respected and recognized vision researchers and academicians.
Keynote speaker for the day will be David Calkins, PhD, Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He will be presenting “Treating the Untreatable: A Journey Through Neurodegeneration in Glaucoma.” Additional presentations will also be given throughout the day featuring the work being done in the various laboratories comprising the VSRC, as well as neighboring vision research institutes.
