A successful business leader for more than 30 years, Mark Armenante (WRC '74) balances a diverse professional background with active charitable engagement. Armenante is the founder and former chairman of the board of software-as-service (SaaS) group Veeva Systems, which develops cloud document storage and customer relations systems for the pharmaceutical industry. He also is a co-founder of Vlocity Inc., a leading provider of industry-specific cloud and mobile software built in partnership with Salesforce.

Armenante belongs to Denmark-based charity Global Medical Aid, an organization that distributes much-needed medical resources to hospitals and medical centers in developing countries. He sits on the board of directors of Oryn Therapeutics and serves as a board member for A Collected Man.

Mark Armenante studied at Case Western Reserve University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Ohio University, which led to his first professional position as Sales Representative for Burroughs Corporation, a banking solutions company. There, he garnered recognition early in his tenure when he achieved the fastest promotion to management in company history.

Later, Armenante held his first executive position as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Information Resources, Inc., where he expanded sales volumes to $240 million from $3 million. He has also served in a leadership role at Oracle Corporation, a vertical industry solutions developer, and as founder and CEO of PharmaSystems, Inc. a sales force automation software development company. Armenante also served in several Group Vice President roles with solutions developer Siebel Systems, now a part of Oracle Corporation.
