Join us on July 21 at 12 p.m. ET via Zoom as part of the Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Series for a Roundtable Discussion with Lizzie Horvitz, Founder of Finch Insights, and Michael Horvitz, Chairman at Parkland Management Company. They will discuss their respective experiences in building a startup and investing in early-stage companies.

Finch Insights is a tool that educates people about sustainability by turning complex scientific facts into simple, actionable insights. She previously was COO at Muuse, a tech-enabled system of reusables, and has also had roles at Unilever and Estée Lauder.

Michael Horvitz is a retired Partner of Jones Day, an international law firm, where he practiced for more than 30 years. Lizzie is the CEO & Founder of Finch, which incentivizes consumers to make better purchasing decisions based on the social and environmental impacts of products. She has been passionate about sustainability since the age of 16 when she lived off the grid. It was there that, depending only on wind energy and rainwater, she saw the solution of climate change before fully understanding the problem. Before Finch, Lizzie worked in supply chain and sustainability at Unilever and then became Chief Operating Officer at Muuse, a startup that aims to mitigate single-use plastics in the to-go industry. She has a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA and Master of Environmental Management from Yale University.
