Elizabeth "Beth" Purpich has been designing accessories for more than 13 years. Her designs have been seen on the runway at New York Fashion Week and on the arms of notable celebrities, magazine editors and fashion icons, Lynn Wyatt and Joanne King Herring.
Beth is a self-taught designer that has gained invaluable experience through the years and has learned greatly from mentors within the fashion industry. She mainly credits her first big break to celebrity and critically-acclaimed designer Cesar Galindo by introducing her designs to a global audience with his Fall 2010 Collection at New York Fashion Week. What started in 2007 (JulieBeth Handbags) has evolved into a highly sought after brand worn by fashionable women around the world.
She believes in versatility which is why all of her designs have to pass the "Jeans + Little Black Dress" test. If you can't wear the bag with both jeans and an LBD then it is not going in the collection. Beth believes navigating from casual to formal is the true mark of a great accessory. She steers clear of trendy fashions and focuses more on classic, heirloom-worthy pieces.
Beth holds an MBA in strategy and marketing from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and spent her former life as a basketball player in college at Auburn University (WDE) and as a professional in Australia. Beth resides in Houston, Texas with her husband, Phil.
