Carolyn Casterton is a global leader in digital health and medical devices. She spent 4.5 years at Verily/Google Life Sciences in partnership and general management roles focused on digital health. She was a core member of the deal team and built up the partnership with Galvani Bioelectronics. Carolyn is a current Entrepreneur in Residence at at the Veale Institute.
Verily, founded in 2015, is a life sciences research and engineering organization focused on improving healthcare outcomes by applying the latest scientific and technological advances to significant problems in health and biology. Verily's mission is to make the world’s health data useful so that people enjoy longer and healthier lives.
This event is being presented in partnership with Duke University.
The discussion will be facilitated by CWRU student moderator Halle Rose, who is pursuing a MSSA in Social Work and a Master's of Public Health, and by Duke University student moderator Katie Carr, who is pursuing her MBA at Duke's Furqua School of Business.

Carolyn Casterton is a global leader in digital health and medical devices. She spent 4.5 years at Verily/Google Life Sciences in partnership/general management roles focused on digital health (imaging AI, population health, disease management). She was a core member of the deal team for and built up the partnership with Galvani Bioelectronics (700M+ investment). Her prior experience is in product management at Boston Scientific Neuromodulation and Stryker Neurovascular, where she drove implantable medical devices concept through launch and commercialized globally. She received her MBA & MS in Biomedical Engineering from Duke, and co-founded a neuromodulation startup in grad school (Cerene Biomedics). Carolyn is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Veale Institute.
