Join us on September 10 at 1 p.m. via Zoom as part of the Case Western Reserve University Entrepreneurship Alumni Series for a Roundtable Discussion with Matt Sommer, Former Senior Technology Architect, Tesla. He will discuss his five-years working at Tesla and his experience with business data systems and product development methodologies.
 
Sommer is a technology and product development expert with over 10 years of experience in software and information technology. He has worked at multiple high-tech companies such as Tesla and GoPro, and has been involved in multiple early-stage startups. Matt is currently Director of Technology at Valis Biosciences, a company that develops tools for clinical trials and digital therapeutics.

This event will be facilitated by Nicholas Kernan (CWR '23), who is pursuing his BS in Computer Science.

Matt Sommer is a technology and product development expert with over 10 years of experience in software and information technology. Matt has worked at multiple high-tech companies such as Tesla and GoPro, and has been involved in multiple early-stage startups. His expertise lies in business data systems and product development methodologies. Matt is currently Director of Technology at Valis Biosciences working with customers such as the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies. He is also on the board of a software start-up in the film production industry.
