Dr. Steve Porter is a physician entrepreneur who is passionate about applying social and technological innovations to improve the health and wellbeing of women around the world. Porter completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in 2018. He works as an OB/GYN hospitalist at University Hospitals and is the Chief Medical Officer of riskLD, a health IT start-up.
The Internet of Things is a CWRU Advanced Seminar course taught by David Sylvan, Professor, Department of Design & Innovation, Weatherhead School of Management at CWRU. The course is designed to give students the opportunity to explore the community of ideas and activities related to the professional and managerial world.
We are live streaming several lectures from The Internet of Things this Fall semester for the Veale Institute's Open Class Series. Other Open Classes this semester feature seminars from Professor Brandon Cornuke's AMES Business Model course, Professor Michael Goldberg's Beyond Silicon Valley course, and Professor Gary Pillar's Advanced Seminar on Sports Management. Information on these seminars is provided through Veale Institute social media platforms.
