Myra Dria is a successful energy executive and entrepreneur. She is the President and CEO of Pearl Resources, an exploration and production company that finds 'hidden oil & gas gems' in the Permian Basin that others overlook. Pearl Resources, which Dria founded in 2011, has expertise in geology, geophysics, well design, field operations, drilling and hydraulic fracturing.

Myra Dria, CIT ’76, has been recognized as one of the most influential women in the energy sector. Dria is the President and CEO of Houston-based Pearl Resources LLC. Pearl Resources, which she founded in 2011, has expertise in geology, geophysics, well design, field operations, drilling and hydraulic fracturing. Dria has held high ranking positions at Royal Dutch Shell, Western Atlas Software, Schlumberger GeoQuest, Amoco and BP Amoco. She is a successful energy executive and entrepreneur, and Pearl Resources is the third oil and gas producing company she has founded. She is currently CEO of Ristra Energy and was previously CEO of Opal Resources. She was one of only a handful of women in her graduating class at the Case Institute of Technology, where she majored in polymer engineering. Dria earned a doctorate in petroleum engineering from University of Texas at Austin.
