Pamela B. Davis, MD, PhD, is the Arline H. and Curtis F. Garvin Research Professor of General Medical Sciences in the Center for Community Health Integration at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She was the Dean of the School of Medicine and Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs at Case Western Reserve University from 2006 to 2020, when she stepped down to return to the faculty and is now on a year’s sabbatical leave. Her prior work focused on cystic fibrosis, and now is turning toward informatics and systems analysis in population health. Dr. Davis is a member of the National Academy of Medicine, the National Academy of Inventors, a fellow of the AAAS, and a member of the Association of American Physicians. She received her BS in chemistry, summa cum laude, from Smith College, the PhD and MD degrees from Duke University, and trained in internal medicine and pulmonology at Duke and the NIH.
