About Us
The mission of the Women in Orthopedics (WIO) is to promote the professional development of women in orthopaedics throughout all stages of their careers. WIO welcomes members of all genders to join our growing club. WIO offers a variety of benefits and opportunities to its members, including leadership courses to enhance leadership skills, scholarship and grant opportunities to support residents and medical students, networking with members at all levels, access to professional development resources, mentorship programs for both mentoring and being mentored. These benefits aim to support the professional development of women in orthopaedics throughout their careers.
